You're getting Married!

​The desserts are the "sweetest" part of your Big Day! Here at RELAX and Eat Cake, it will be the most stress-free part too!

 

Here is a short run down of the most pertinent information when it comes to placing your wedding order.  Below the bullet points is a downloadable file for a flavor list as well as a helpful serving/cutting guide for you to best decide what tier sizes are adequate for your event!   • Wedding cakes are priced by the slice (per serving) + design.  


 

  • Wedding cake slices are typically cut in 1x2 inch slices. If you plan on saving your top tier for your first anniversary you will need to subtract the amount of servings of your top tier from your total. Honestly, I am finding that freezing the top tier for your first anniversary is a tradition that is trending its way out. What's really cool, is ordering FRESH custom cupcakes/cake or cookies in the flavors/theme of your wedding to enjoy on your first anniversary. We actually forgot about the top tier of our cake! I will be happy to oblige either route you choose. :) 

  • Naked/Semi Naked Wedding Cake designs start at $5 per serving.

  • Buttercream Wedding Cake designs start at $6 per/serving + detail. 

  • Fondant Wedding Cake designs (porcelain-smooth finish) start at $7 per/serving + detail. 



 

  • Prices are subject to increase, based on the intricacy of your design. 



 

  • I do offer other icings such as ganache or poured fondant. We can discuss these alternatives when we are designing your cake. Florida humidity is no joke and cakes are perishable so we will decide what would be best on an individual basis.



 

  • I book a limited number of wedding cakes per weekend to ensure I am able to dedicate 100% effort to your design. A 50% non-refundable retainer is due upon booking to reserve your date. This amount is taken off of the total cost of your cake. There will be a contract to sign as well. I feel a "safe" time frame to reserve your date is from 6 months, up to one year in advance to ensure availability.

 

 

  • Private tastings are available by appointment only. This may include 3 cake flavors and 3 filling/icing choices. My tastings are set up "mix and match" style for up to 3 people. You will be able to combine each cake flavor with each filling. Tastings are $60 If you decide to book your cake, this amount will roll into your retainer. 


 

  • Delivery and set-up are required for all wedding orders. Delivery fees are based on distance and intensity of set-up and will be included in your final quote. Our delivery zone ranges from Port St. Joe to Tallahassee to Okaloosa Island. Just ask if your area isn't listed :).




*Please note fondant-covered cakes are always iced with a thick layer of buttercream underneath. A thin layer of fondant lays over the buttercream. Although it looks awesome and photographs phenomenally, it is common for guests to peel off the fondant, if they do not prefer the taste.
